There are those who find it surprising that Las Vegas has such an enormous amount of holiday spirit. From drive-through attractions and elaborate hotel displays to pop-up skating rinks and full-fledged holiday productions, Sin City truly knows how to immerse its residents and guests in the spirit of Christmas. Now Las Vegas Ballpark has hit the ultimate home run with the most impressive holiday attraction the city has ever seen. It's called ENCHANT CHRISTMAS, and the gates to this magical world are already open.
It's easy as a writer to pile on superlatives and embellish reality, yet the massive ENCHANT CHRISTMAS truly deserves the highest amount of praise. But size, scope, attention to detail, and successful creation of atmosphere are only part of the equation. This is truly a labor of love, with a goal to create memories that will last a lifetime. The stroll-through attraction features thousands upon thousands of lights, costumed characters, live music, and a REAL ICE skating rink (reach down and touch if you don't believe it).
ENCHANT began as the world's largest Christmas Maze and Market, with uniquely designed locations in Washington DC, St. Petersburg Florida, and Dallas, Texas. This year marks the first time the event has come to Las Vegas, and it most certainly won't be the last.
A lucky preview crowd filled the Las Vegas Ballpark on Monday, November 22nd, enjoying the smells of mulled wine and hot foods, strolling through the local-vendor marketplace, and stopping for musical performances by bands and bell-ringers. Parents joined their teens to strap on ice skates, while smaller ones gathered around the fireplace for storytime with Mrs. Claus. Just down the promenade, the big guy himself took a break from his workshop to pose for some photos.

Since every ENCHANT CHRISTMAS experience is custom-designed for its home city, the planned Vegas version would require someone with an intimate understanding of its community and entertainment requirements. That's why the creators turned to Kim Scott to spearhead their latest endeavor.
A former dancer and gymnast, Ms. Scott is a veteran of the Sin City entertainment scene. As a training manager, Director of Show Support, and Company Manager for Cirque du Soleil, her contributions to major productions like THE BEATLES - LOVE, KA, and ZUMANITY are part of Vegas history. Scott most recently served as General Manager for the critically acclaimed CELESTIA at The STRAT Hotel Casino.
