The Southern Highlands Community Association will host the Southern Highlands Fall Festival for charity on Saturday, October 16. Admission is free, and all of the money raised during this annual event will go to the Southern Highland Boys & Girls Club and Andson, an academic mentoring program for kids and teens.
The festival will go from 11 am to 3 pm. There will be dance performances, circus acts, raffles with prizes, bounce houses, face painting, and plenty of games! It’s the perfect outdoor weekend activity for young kids and families.
Dressing up is encouraged! There will be a costume contest starting at 1:30 pm; all you have to do is show up at the main stage to enter. There are categories based on age, and there will also be a family category. The competition will be tough- some people really go all out!
There will be local food trucks and other food and drink vendors on-site, so no need to worry about packing a lunch or snacks. This is set up in a farmer’s market style. Pumpkins will be available for picking too!
Get into the Halloween spirit for the afternoon andhelp support the community. It’ll be fun for the whole family!
The Southern Highlands Fall Festival will be held inside of The Southern Highlands community at Goett Family Park.
